These images represent a selection of student work from the Spring semester at Roxbury Community College. The images that follow are from Painting 1, Drawing 1, and Painting 2 (which was an independent study course for one student, Ayomide Oyadiji). All of my students overcame huge obstacles to get their work done and then have it represented digitally. The studio was taken from them and the most vital aspect of any visual arts course; feedback from the instructor. Although I could not include work from all of my students, I feel that these images best represent the goals for each course and project. Some of these images are from before the Covid 19 outbreak and some are from the online learning phase. Thankfully I had brought student work home with me for the mid-term and I was able to photograph the work and edit it for this page. I want to thank all of my students for their perseverance during these last few months and rising to the occasion to produce their artwork.
